The affable Zeolla told PokerNews it wasn't one big hand that helped him get there. Instead he said he's made a number of "hero calls" to build a stack in contention for the lead.

Things went South in a big hurry for two-time WSOPC ring winner Travell Thomas.
First he ran into queens with less than stellar holdings and after finding an ace to double up his short stack once, he ran into an ace with 
to end his day.

Adam Suraf had built himself a contending stack over the first few levels of play but just messed with the ever-dangerous Travell Thomas to give a little back.
The hand began with a Thomas raise to 1,700 and Suraf defending his big blind with a call. The flop came 
and after a Suraf check, Thomas kept his foot on the gas, making it 1,800.
Suraf called, but checked again when the straightening 
turn was revealed. Thomas took very little time in firing out 3,000 and Suraf was forced to fold.

Anthony Gugino has battled his way into the chip lead here in the opening event at Seneca Niagara with just one level of re-entry remaining.

Carol Leonardi suddenly finds herself nearing the top of the chip counts after a gutsy call.
She was among several callers of an 1,800-chip open, but when one initial limper shipped it in for some 6,000 more, she was the only one with the stones to make the call.
