Peter Bogulski Eliminated in 8th Place ($7,415)

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Peter Bogulski
Peter Bogulski

Peter Bogulski gave quite the speech about small armies and making the Seneca Nation great again before pushing all in for 300,000.

Dan Wagner called with the {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} in the big blind.

Bogulski had the {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} monster, but little chance against the hot running Wagner after the {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop. No queen on the {6-Hearts} turn or {3-Diamonds} river sent Bogulski and the army back to his suite upstairs at the Seneca Niagara Resort Hotel & Casino having finished eighth.

Bartolotta Closing In

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Cameron Bartolotta
Cameron Bartolotta

Things heated up when Nicholas Potwora bet 65,000 into a {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades} board to the turn heads up with Cameron Bartolotta. Bartolotta added 100,000 more to the bet and Potwora made the call.

Bartolotta almost beat the dealer to the table shoving all in on the {8-Hearts} river and Potwora went deep into the tank. After apologizing for taking a few minutes to think, Potwora called. He mucked when Bartolotta turned over the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} set.

Bartolotta's latest double has him pushing up close to one million chips now and left Potwora picking up the shattered pieces of his once much healthier stack.

Brian Bowen Eliminated in 9th Place ($5,958)

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Brian Bowen
Brian Bowen

Card dead from the outset of the final table, Brian Bowen finally picked a hand and went with it, open-shoving for almost 300,000.

Mark Allott was the only caller and turned over the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} immediately. Bowen was in a classic race for his tournament life with the {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, but fell behind on the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop.

The {a-Clubs} turn had Bowen calling for the queen, but the {3-Spades} river bore no resemblance and he hit the rail ninth.

Another Milly for Wagner

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Dan Wagner
Dan Wagner

Things got serious when Dan Wagner led a {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop for 84,000 from the cutoff, heads up with Sean Gomez on the button. Gomez called and after Wagner checked the {q-Spades} turn, Gomez bet 110,000.

Wagner called and checked again on the {j-Clubs} river. This time Gomez bet 250,000, which would make it a one million chip pot should Wagner call.

Wagner looked Gomez up and down before taking a breath and making the call. Gomez showed the {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for ace-high and Wagner took it down with the {9-Spades}{8-Hearts} third pair.

With that, Wagner crossed the three-million-chip mark and extended his lead.

Zakarian Rising

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
Veerab Zakarian
Veerab Zakarian

Veerab Zakarian has been the most active player at the table so far, and after doubling up Cameron Bartolotta early to drop to the bottom of the counts, he's climbed back to the top half of the leaderboard.

Mark Allott has seen his stock drop a little, and although he still sits with more than one million in chips he's trending downwards.

It looked like a battle of the blinds was about to heat up between the two when Allott bet 92,000 into Zakarian on a {k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{8-Spades} flop, but they checked down the {4-Hearts} turn and {3-Diamonds} river.

Zakarian took it down with the {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} against Allott's {q-Hearts}{6-Spades} to continue recent trends.

Zakarian Doubles Back

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Veerab Zakarian
Veerab Zakarian

Veerab Zakarian open-shoved early and Jay Clark tanked out a call on the button with the {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

Zakarian had the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and didn't have to sweat much after the {9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop. The {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} runout missed Clark and Zakarian doubled through to climb out of the basement.

Bartolotta Strikes First Blood

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
Cameron Bartolotta
Cameron Bartolotta

Cameron Bartolotta has struck first blood here at this final table.

Veerab Zakarian made it 54,000 and Bartolotta shipped it in for 337,000 total. Zakarian tanked it out, but made the call with the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Bartolotta had him dominated holding the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}.

The {3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} made a Bartolotta double almost a lock and the {k-Hearts} turn sealed it. Bartolotta made a flush on the {2-Diamonds} river to pour salt in the wound and Zakarian was left with just 280,000.

He's the shorty now with Bartolotta chipping up back into contention.
