A 45-year old Tonawanda based Erie County Sheriff originally from Brighton, England took down the 2017 Seneca Fall Poker Classic $120 No Limit Hold'em $10,000 Guaranteed event inside the Niagara Falls Poker Room at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino this evening.

Bradley Girdler had a dominant chip lead five-handed and agreed to a chop giving him almost first-place money. In fact, he earned $3,500, the title and trophy.

Edward Liner and Dan Ruddach took $1,800 each from the chop, while Steve Herman earned $1,736 and Jimmy Gasiorowski collected $1,536.

The event drew 154 entries creating a $14,630 prize pool that crushed the guarantee. The top 18 players got paid.

Girdler is often competitive in Seneca events and will look to spin this win into a big score in the 2017 Seneca Fall Classic Main Event coming up this weekend.

PokerNews will be back for that one, and coverage of the entire 2017 Seneca Fall Classic continues Tuesday with two simultaneous tournaments in the $120 Tag Team event beginning at 5 p.m. local time in Western New York.

They roll into Level 20 with Bradley Girdler still rolling. In fact, he's got it up to 500,000 now, which represents a third of the chips in play.

It's now six-handed with Adam Williams running ace-jack into Jimmy Gasiorowski tens and failing to improve. Below you can see how the rest of the stacks look.

The Final Seven

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Paul Sassaman busted and then Bradley Girdler took out Nick Randazzo and Mike Jung in the same hand when his {2-}{4-} flopped a six-high straight.

Suddenly there's just seven left and Girdley has a hold of the chip lead again. Here's how the rest of the stacks look:

Dan Ruddach doubled through James Miller with queens versus tens.

Miller was left with 20,000, but those were gone soon after. Jacob Durjeman busted right before that and they are down to the final table of ten now.

Legends Of The Fall

Jerry Calvaneso
Jerry Calvaneso

Jacob Durjeman picked off a short stacked Jerry Calvaneso, who decided the {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} was a good enough hand to get it in with and try to triple up.

Unfortunately for him, Durjeman had the dominating {8-Spades}{7-Spades}. Durjeman turned a straight and although Calvaneso picked up a flush draw, he missed it on the river.

In the meantime, Fran Schunk took lucky 13th and they are down to 12.
