Matt Shanahan got it in with a set of tens against two club draws. Dennis Fleig was also carrying kings with his.
Shanahan faded all trouble to triple up into the chip lead. Fleig still has a threatening stack as well as they all head into the break before the registration and re-entry period closes.
Right now the board reads 63 entries with 28 players remaining. The guarantee has been more than met after a flurry of action on the tables and at the cage this past level. We will update you on all the registration numbers when they become official.

The action is heating up here with another four-way all pushing Josh Knight up close to 100,000.
They got it in on the flop and Knight turned a flush. Jason Nablo had more chips to start and made a queen-high straight in the hand to survive. It wasn't clear what fellow local legend Blake Napierala had, but he busted and bought back in.
They move into Level 8, the last one to re-enter or register, with the board reading 54 entries so far. They'll need just three more to meet the $15,000 guarantee.

There was a four-way all in over on Table 5 with Alex Rivera the only one leaving the pot empty handed.
The board read 
with 45,000 in the middle and Rivera all in already. One players shoved for 15,900, Al Amico threw his last 7,000 in, and the biggest stack among them made the call.
Amico made a straight on the 
river to take the main pot and rise to a spot among the leaders. The big stack missed his straight draw, but was left with chips, and the other player in the hand collected a side pot with top two pair. Rivera had top two as well, but with the main pot going to Amico, he hit the rail.

Pardon the pun, but rather than be bitter about it, Bitterman fired that second bullet and commenced grinding with a positive attitude.
