Quadzilla!

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

There was one limper when Carrie Marciniak bumped it to 18,000 from the small blind.

Blake Napierala flatted the big blind and the limper folded. The flop fell {a-}{j-}{9-} and Marciniak led for 20,000. Napierala flatted again and Marciniak bet 40,000 into the {k-Clubs} turn. Once again, Napierala just called.

Finally, on the {j-} river, Marciniak led for 75,000 and Napierala shoved.

Marciniak called off another 100,000 and showed two aces for top full house. No good!

Napierala had flopped a set of jacks and rivered quads, dragging one of the biggest pots of the tournament so far and extending his lead.

It's the Blake show now.

Here Comes Blake!

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Blake Napierala
Blake Napierala

Blake Napierala got off to a slow start today, but has picked it back up since.

He grabbed 90,000 getting it in with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} flush draw versus sevens and hit a jack. Then he had two jacks in the hole and held versus a shove from the {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Napierala has now pushed over 400,000 and appears to be leading.

In the meantime, start-of-day leader Mark Roberts has been pretty much treading water, but still sitting comfortably at 350,000.

The Run To Repeat

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Mike Latour
Mike Latour

It took a set -over-set debacle to send Aaron Obstein to the rail.

It also took defending champ Mike Latour to scrape the barnacle of the side of this boat. Being on the better end of that setup has Latour making a run to repeat now.

Ashaws Bubbles, Bodnar Leads!

And just like that they're all in the money.

Tarek Ashwas ran {a-}{q-} into Peter Bodnar's aces for heaps. Ashwas hit the rail busting the money bubble and Bodnar snuck into the chip lead.

Sahar Khajavi
Sahar Khajavi

After starting the day leaking chips, Sahar Khajavi has managed to right the ship.

She opened with aces and couldn't call quick enough when John Amoia shoved {a-}{q-}. Aces held and with 58 remaining now, Khajavi is back over 200,000.
