Pierre Gautreau leads, and he's the first one past 100,000, but he's also at a table with a heck of a lot of chips. These include the 80,000 sitting in Kristan Mackiewicz' stack right now. Nick Zinter is also there with 95,000.
Plus, Todd Saffron got in a huge hand when he and an opponent both flopped two pair. Saffron's was bigger and he's got 94,800.
We've also got a bit of a zero to hero story going with Buffalo, NY's Robert Welch. He was down to 300 in chips at one point, doubling up no less than five times to get over 40,000.
The prizepool for the 2017 WNYPC Event #6 $160 First Wednesday of the Month event has cracked $23,000.
In fact, it hit a whopping $23,166. First Wednesday of the Month in Niagara Falls is a hit and they'll be playing it all year.
Tonight, they will pay the top 21 and alongside the trophy and the title, the winner will walk away with $6,026. The top six will earn four figure scores.
A 19th-21st place min-cash is worth $278.
Plus, you can add another $2,457 to the January 2018 Championship event, thanks to tonight's big turnout.

William Ho has a reputation for playing fast and loose around these parts.
Apparently the players at his table didn't get the memo, because according to Ho, he's been getting away with highway robbery so far - stealing left and right.
He did manage to get it in with pocket fours and hold versus big slick for a big pot, but other than that, it's been larceny since Level 1 and Ho's now among the early leaders.
With registration and reentry now closed the numbers are in.
This event drew a whopping 198 entries and created a very juicy prizepool. Details on said prizepool should be released soon and we'll post 'em when we got 'em.
In the meantime, this place is packed like it's a Friday night with a six-figure bad beat jackpot waiting to be hit.
