A total of 249 entries were gathered during the three flights of the Fall Poker Classic $1,000 Main Event, and of those just 45 will be returning for a shot at the title on Day 2. The prize pool compiled of the flights came to a total of $219,792 and the players will find out how the money will be spread among the payouts before the start Day 2.

The Day 2 chipleader who came out of the second flight is Amandeep "AJ" Taheem with an immense 439,000. Taheem started the day off slowly, hovering around averaging for about half of it until he hit a run of cards that most players can only dream of having. The best part about his run of cards is how he managed to get max value every time. Aj will be coming in hot, but he wont be giving any chips away as he has showed the amount of patience needed to win a marathon of a tournament like this.

The flight that had the smallest amount of slips sold was Day 1a, but Canadian Barry Kruger wouldn't change a thing as he came out on top of that particular group with the second biggest stack gathered of anyone in the tournament. Kruger will be starting the final day with a robust 424,000 in chips. He absolutely ran over his flight from start to finish and will be looking to continue his heater all the way to the title.

Some other notable stacks to start the day include Canadian Jason James (403,500), Day 1c chipleader Vadim Rozin (349,000), Kenneth Luther (326,500), Victor Adams (301,000), Thomas Babiarz (291,000), and Seneca regular Chris Meyers (261,000).

One person everyone will be watching is local pro Dan Wagner, who is heading into Day 2 with 108,000 in chips. Wagner took down this exact event two years ago and will be clawing at a chance to do it again on today.

Day action 2 will kick off at 11 a.m. Sunday the 18th. The day will start on level 16 with the blinds at 2,000/4,000 and 4,000 big blind ante. The tournament will play down until the final table is set and players will return on the following day to crown a champion.
