Summer Slam 2018 Kicks Off Thursday With High Roller at 11 a.m.

The Seneca Niagara Falls Summer Slam 2018 kicks off Thursday morning with the first of nine events running from July 19-29. Starting off with a bang, Event #1: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Deep Stack High Roller sees cards get in the air around 11 a.m guaranteeing a $20,000 top prize.

The single-day event features a starting stack of 100,000 and 30-minute blind levels. Registration is open until the start of Level 9 with one re-entry permitted during that time. There will also be a big blind ante format for the event.

At the 2017 Summer Slam, Andrew Mosey and Peter Raimondi took the lion's share of a seven-way chop. Mosey took 12,000 with Raimondi banking $11,500. The rest of the remaining field, including Ray Williams, Alex Visbisky, Chris Damick, Guy Klass, and Maurice Sessum, each earned $8,676.
