Peters Takes from Rast

Level 18 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #31: David Peters raised to 145,000 under the gun and Brian Rast called from the hijack. Timofey Kuznetsov came along from the big blind and three players saw a flop of {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Kuznetsov checked, Peters continued for 240,000, and Rast put in a call. Kuznetsov folded, which brought about the {K-Clubs} turn.

Peters checked, as did Rast, and the {9-Spades} completed the board on the river. Once again Peters checked, and Rast tossed out a bet of 575,000. It did the trick as Peters released his hand.

Hand #32: Tom Marchese raised to 140,000 under the gun and took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #33: Peters limped the small blind, Marchese raised to 240,000 from the big, and Peters called to see a flop of {4-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. Peters checked, Marchese bet 300,000, and Peters came along once again. The {J-Spades} turn saw Peters and Marchese both check, and the {6-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Peters opted to lead out for 550,000, and that inspired Marchese to release his hand.

Hand #34: Peters raised to 135,000 from the button and Rast defended the big blind to see a flop of {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Rast led out for 155,000, Peters called, and the {10-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. Rast checked, and Peters took the opportunity to bet 275,000. Rast made the call and then checked the {6-Spades} river. Peters bet 550,000 and Rast called. Peters tabled the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for tens and deuces, which was good as Rast mucked his hand.

Seidel Getting Short

Level 18 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #26: Erik Seidel raised to 150,000 from the hijack and David Peters called from the small blind.

They checked to the river of a {2-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} board where Peters bet 180,000. Seidel folded after about 50 seconds.

Hand #27: Scott Seiver raised to 150,000 from under the gun and took down the pot.

Hand #28: Timofey Kuznetsov raised all in for 1,165,000 from the hijack and received no action.

Hand #29: Brian Rast raised to 155,000 from the button and Erik Seidel called from the big blind.

The flop came down {2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Seidel check-folded to bet of 165,000 from Rast.

Hand #30: Brian Rast raised to 155,000 from the cutoff and collected the pot.

Two Nice Pots Pushed to Peters

Level 17 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #21: Brian Rast limped the small blind and Scott Seiver exercised his option in the big with a raise to 210,000. Rast folded.

Hand #22: Tom Marchese raised to 135,000 from the cutoff and Erik Seidel defended his big blind. The {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop saw both players check, and the {A-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. Seidel checked, Marchese bet 175,000, and Seidel folded.

Hand #23: Connor Drinan received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #24: David Peters raised to 135,000 under the gun and Marchese, who was on his direct left, made the call. Rast came along from the hijack, Timofey Kuznetsov did the same from the big blind, and four players took a flop of {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. All four players checked, the {5-Clubs} appeared on the turn, and once again it checked around. The {5-Hearts} river paired the board, Kuznetsov bet 300,000, Peters called, and the other two players got out of the way. Peters showed the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for a flush, and it was good as Kuznetsov mucked.

Hand #25: Rast opened for 135,000 from middle position, Peters called from the big blind, and the flop fell {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades}. Peters checked, Rast continued for 145,000, and Peters thought for a few moments before making the call. After the dealer burned and turned the {Q-Spades}, Peters checked and Rast tossed out 360,000. Peters called once again and then checked for a third time on the {4-Clubs} river. Rast did the same and Peters tabled the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} to win the pot.

Drinan Shoves Twice

Level 17 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #16: David Peters raised to 135,000 from middle position and took down the pot.

Hand #17: Erik Seidel raised to 135,000 from the button, Connor Drinan three-bet shoved for 940,000 from the small blind and Seidel folded.

Hand #18: Brian Rast raised to 135,000 from middle position and Peters called from the big blind.

The flop fell {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Peters check-called 140,000 from Rast to see the {7-Spades} turn. Peters checked to Rast again and the chip leader bet 280,000. After a few moments, Peters folded.

Hand #19: Peters limped from the small blind, Tom Marchese raised to 195,000 from the big blind and Peters called.

They checked to the turn of a {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} board where Peters bet 230,000. Marchese called, the {9-Spades} river completed the board and Peters checked. Marchese bet 515,000 and Peters folded after about 55 seconds.

Hand #20: Seiver raised to 150,000 from under the gun, Connor Drinan three-bet shoved from the hijack for 1,155,000 and Seiver folded.

A Chopped Pot Marks the High Point of Hands #11-15

Level 17 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #11: Timofey Kuznetsov limped the small blind, David Peters checked his option from the big, and the flop fell {7-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Kuznetsov led out for 90,000, Peters called, and the dealer burned and turned the {J-Spades}. Kuznetsov bet again, this time 200,000, but he couldn't shake Peters, who called to see the {8-Spades} turn.

Kuznetsov slowed down with a check, and Peters followed suit. Kuznetsov tabled the {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a pair of jacks, and Peters rolled over the same hand with the {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Chop it up.

Hand #12: Tom Marchese received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #13: Scott Seiver raised to 150,000 under the gun and won the pot.

Hand #14: Erik Seidel raised to 135,000 under the gun, Seiver defended his big blind, and the flop came down {q-Spades}{5-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Seiver checked and then folded when Seidel bet 150,000.

Hand #15: Brian Rast raised to 135,000 from the button, Seiver called from the small blind, and it was heads-up action to the {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop. Seiver checked, Rast bet 190,000, and Seiver snap-folded.
