Anton Heinrich Chip Leading Final 14 Players at the End of Day 2 of the THMC Liechtenstein Main Event
At the start of Day 2 of the The Hendon Mob Championship Liechtenstein CHF 300 ($332) Main Event at Grand Casino Liechtenstein 154 players had chips. However, out of the 601 total entries, just 14 still remain in contention for the title and trophy as they head into the last day.
Leading them is Switzerland's Anton Heinrich, who managed to bag a whopping 6,000,000 chips at the end of the 11-hour Day 2. He will take 86 big blinds into the final day, significantly more than his nearest contender, "Alladin". That mystical figure ended Day 2 with a stack of 3,760,000, while Liechtenstein's very own Karim Frick rounds out the top three with a stack of 3,330,000.
However, the most notable player in the field has to be Symeon Alexandridis. The Greek player has amassed over one million dollars in lifetime tournament earnings and is looking to put his 1,900,000 stack to work on Day 3 in order to increase that by just a few more francs. Day 1a chip leader Daniel Schwitter, meanwhile, will be short stack, having just eight big blinds at his disposal at the start of play on Day 3. He was one of the big stacks throughout the day, but lost a huge preflop flip against "Alladin" in the tail end that saw his stack decimated.

Day 2 Action
However, before it got to that point, the bubble still had to burst. Plenty of rapid eliminations happened in the opening levels of Day 2, leading to the bubble being reached after roughly 2 hours of play. However, it would not burst for about another hour. After several all-in players had doubled up, it was finally "Magg Jack" who would be the last to not get a share of the CHF 200,000, with around CHF 40,000 in overlay, prize pool. Poetically, his final hand of pocket jacks could not beat the pocket queens of Claudio Di Vitto.
After everyone had secured their CHF 570 mincash, the bust-outs build up quickly again. Before everyone knew it, the final three tables had been reached. At this point, chip leader at the start of the day Arjan van Bavel also had to say his goodbyes. A double elimination before the final two tables then meant that 15 players would take a seat on them. In the next 90 minutes or so, only one more bust-out was recorded, when "Mr 7" was the last to be eliminated from Day 2. The next two levels saw every all-in player double up, and thus the day ended with the 14 players that still have a shot at victory.
They have all secured a payout of at least CHF 1,730, but all eyes are set on the top prize of CHF 40,200, as well as the glorious THMC trophy.

The plan was to play down to the final table of eight on Day 2, but it was not to be. The 14 players will return for Day 3 on June 5th at 6 p.m. local time and will play down to the eventual winner of the Main Event. Once the final table has been reached, the plan is that it will be streamed cards-up. Play will resume with blinds at 35,000/70,000 with an 70,000 big blind ante. Levels are scheduled to be 45 minutes in length until the final table has been reached, at which point they will increase to 60 minutes.
