Day 1b Draws Large Crowd
After 14 levels of play here on Day 1b, 23 players have made their way through to Day 2. Entries closed following the break after the end of level nine and the number stood at an impressive 180 for the second of three flights.
Of the 35 remaining, Jeremy Ehrke leads the way with a ridiculous 360,000 in chips. Jeffrey Freese finished second in chips and bagged up 236,000. Ryan Austin (230,500), Steve Anderson (163,500) and Adam Lamphere (140,500) are notables that finished toward the top of the leaderboard.
Notables that entered but failed to advance thus far included Nick Guagenti, Allen Kessler and Pat Steele.
The third and final starting flight will take place on Saturday and 14 levels will be played for a third straight day. Watch out for a ton of weekend warriors to join the fray and push the prize pool close to $500,000.
