Dembiec Finds Value on River
Five players all committed 1,000 preflop to result in five T1,000 chips in the middle as the dealer fanned a flop of 
. All five players checked.
Ken Komberec checked again from the small blind and the big blind put out a bet of 1,600. The next player to act was under the gun and he folded to put action on Steven Dembiec, who was in early position. Dembiec called, as did the hijack, to put action back on Komberec, who folded.
Action was then three-handed as the river came 
. The big blind checked to Dembiec, who put out a bet of 3,000. The hijack folded.
"I'm not sure what I beat here," said the big blind as he considered his options. He elcted to call.
"Queen-ten," said Dembiec, showing 
. The dealer confirmed Dembiec's trips and his final opponent was unable to best it, earning him the pot to bring him over one-and-a-half starting stacks with Level 1 coming to a close.
