Day 1d of the 2020 MSPT Golden Gates $360 Regional Gets Underway at Noon
Saturday marks the fourth of four starting flights at the 2020 Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Golden Gates $360 Regional Event. The guaranteed prize pool of $150,000 was long surpassed on Friday’s flight and the sky is the limit as another huge crowd should be on hand. Last November’s edition of this tournament saw 915 entries, and a field size of over 1,000 should be attainable for the MSPT’s first stop of 2020.
Six hundred and eighty-seven entries have already been logged across the first three flights with 84 players already a part of the Day 2 conversation. Each flight saw one person finish with over 400,000, with Day 1a chip leader Luis Rosa leading the way with a stack of 641,000. Day 1c chip leader Nader Wahdan (484,000) and Day 1b chip leader Abhinav Parakh (414,000) follow to round out the top three.
For those yet to advance, this is the final opportunity to do so. Play begins at noon with starting stacks of 25,000. Fifteen half-hour levels are on the docket unless 12% of the field remains before that number is reached, and there will be 15-minute breaks at the completion of every four levels. Unlimited reentry is available until the beginning of Level 13.
