2022 MSPT Running Aces
While PokerNews is here offering live updates from the $1,100 Main Event, we��d be remiss if we didn��t tell you about some of the side events that have taken place out over the past week for the Showdown Series here at Running Aces Casino.
In Event #1: $360 NLHE Mystery Bounty, 1,197 entries were logged through three starting flights and created a $356,100 prize pool that was paid out to the top 129 players.
Among those to cash but fall short of the final table were MSPT Hall of Famer's Rob Wazwaz (11th - $3,350) & Aaron Johnson (47th - $709), DJ Buckley (60th - $638), Tom Hammers (98th - $519), and David Gonia (122nd - $423).
In the end, it was Minnesota's Beile Li who collected every chip in play to capture the MSPT Trophy, along with a $25,588 payday.

A series of preflop raises saw Zach Gutierrez call off his 324,000 stack from late position after Rocky Wylie jammed for more from middle position.
