Leese Smashes the River in Crazy Runout

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
David Leese
David Leese

With the flop showing {4-Spades}{10-Spades}{k-Spades}, David Leese, Stefano Calenzani, and Pat McCool got the chips in the middle to create a massive pot.

David Leese: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Stefano Calenzani: {j-Spades}{2-Spades}
Pat McCool: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}

What a flop it was as McCool and Calenzani had flopped flushes and yet Leese still had outs with the ace of spades.

The turn brought the {q-Diamonds}, but the river {q-Spades} hit the felt and Leese made the best hand to triple up.

Penn Goes Runner-Runner Boat To Survive

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Danny Penn
Danny Penn

There was a loud reaction across the room and it was too the benefit of Danny Penn.

Penn found himself all in preflop holding pocket jacks against king-four of hearts.

The flop {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} was a devastating one, as his opponent made a flush.

A {j-Hearts} on the turn provided some hope for Penn with full house outs and he got just that on the {6-} river as he made jacks full to survive.

Pittman Survives, One of Two ClubGG Qualifiers Remaining

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Josiah Pittman and Brayan Noriegasolis each put in 32,000 preflop to see the {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{x-Clubs} spread. Pittman jammed his last 29,000 and Noriegasolis called.

Josiah Pittman: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Brayan Noriegasolis: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}

Pittman's aces were in front and the {10-Hearts}{q-Hearts} runout secured him the double.

Meanwhile, Club GG qualifier Zach Jump is still alive, while Zicheng Chen was no longer spotted in the field.
