Dugan Flops the World but Hits the Rail

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Arri Stone is all smiles
Arri Stone is all smiles

"All in and a call" said the dealer at table 2-7. We got to the table and Bobby Dugan was all in and at risk on a flop of {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} against Arri Stone. Dugan turned over the nuts with the nut redraw with {9-Spades}{7-Spades}. He wasn't out of the woods yet, however, as Stone had flopped a set with his {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

The turn would give Stone a full house as it was the {8-Hearts} and now Dugan was drawing to two cards, the {10-Spades} or the {5-Spades}. The river was the {K-Hearts} though and that would be the end of the road for Dugan.

Fund Cracks Aces to Eliminater Trizis

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Gregg Fund
Gregg Fund

Steve Trizis opened for a raise and Gregg Fund called out of the big blind. All the chips would go in the middle on the {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop and Trizis would be in trouble with his {A-}{A-} as Fund had flopped bottom two pair with {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The turn was the {3-Spades} and the river was the {4-Spades} and Fund had Trizis just covered to send him out just short of the money.

Chris Swanson Wins Huge Pot to Take Chip Lead

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Chris Swanson
Chris Swanson

We got to the table and all the chips were in the middle on a flop of {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} with Chris Swanson being slightly covered by his opponent Song O. It was a 670,000 chip pot and the cards were turned face up:

Swanson: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
O: {K-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Song O had been coolered flopping two pair, kings and nines, only to run into a bigger two pair as Swanson had kings and queens. The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and the river was the {10-Clubs} and O was crippled down to 40,000 in chips while Swanson moved up to 670,000.

Hernandez Cripples Harwell, Bolek Eliminated

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Alexi Hernandez
Alexi Hernandez

We didn't catch the action but Alexi Hernandez was stacking a pile of chips sent to him courtesy of Robert Harwell. Harwell had {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Hernandez {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} with a board run out of {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Harwell would be eliminated a few hands later while Hernandez moved up to 245,000 in chips.

At a nearby table, PPC Team Pro Chris Bolek was eliminated when his {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} was unable to outdraw the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} of Bobby Dugan when the board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.
