Haxton and Leow Tangle in the Last Two Hands
While the other three tables were in the process of bagging up, Isaac Haxton and Ivan Leow were in the process of squeezing the last little bit of action from Day 1 and tangled in the last two hands of the day.
In the first, it was Leow the initial aggressor, making it 2,700 to go from under-the-gun with the action folding around to Haxton in the big blind, who made the call to take the action heads-up to the flop.
This saw no betting, and neither did the turn or river. Haxton flashed to take the pot when Leow mucked.
In the final hand action folded to Haxton in the small blind, who completed, with Leow checking his option in the big blind. The monochrome flop saw the appearance of yet more diamonds, only this time there was some betting action.
Haxton checked it over to Leow, whe tossed out a bet of 2,000, which Haxton called. The turn was the last card dealt for the day, with Haxton checking and Leow betting 5,500, which was enough to get it done.
