Hands #33-37: Zang Doubles with Runner-Runner

Level 20 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Hand #33: Bryn Kenney opened to 425,000 with {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} from the cutoff, Alfred DeCarolis called with [qjc] on the button and Bill Perkins defended his big blind with {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. The dealer fanned out {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and action checked to Kenney who bet 425,000 and only Perkins stuck around to see the {3-Diamonds} turn card.

Perkins led out for 525,000 and Kenney moved all in with his flush draw for more than enough to cover his opponent. Perkins quickly folded his flopped four and sent the pot to Kenney.

Hand #34: Kenney looked down at {a-Hearts}{8-Spades} and raised to 425,000 from the hijack. Stephen Chidwick defended his big blind holding {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and the flop came down {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Both players checked, the {2-Diamonds} landed as a turn card and Chidwick check-folded to a bet of 275,000 from Kenney.

Hand #35: Chidwick limped the small blind with {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Dan Smith checked his option with {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. A flop of [qh5a5c] hit the board and both players checked to the {6-Diamonds} turn card.

Chidwick bet 200,000 with his turned six and Smith called. A {9-Hearts} completed the board and Chidwick bet 300,000. Smith raised to 1,300,000 with his top two and Chidwick called with bottom two. Smith took down the pot, moving up to third on the leaderboard.

Hand #36: DeCarolis opened to 525,000 from middle position with {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and Aaron Zang elected to defend his big blind with {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The dealer spread out {a-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} on the flop and action checked DeCarolis who bet 900,000. Zang folded, sending the pot to DeCarolis.

Hand #37: Vivek Rajkumar raised to 450,000 from middle position with his {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Aaron Zang moved all in for 2,400,000 in the small blind. Rajkumar called and players turned over their cards.

Aaron Zang: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Vivek Rajkumar: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The flop came down {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Zang was now the only player that could take down the whole pot. A {3-Hearts} peeled off on the turn, giving Zang a flush draw. The unthinkable {10-Hearts} landed on the river, completing the runner-runner flush for Zang who secured a full double through Rajkumar.
