Once the blinds went up, James Rann limped the small blind and Lukas Dimsa checked his option to see the {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} on the flop. Dimsa check-raised from 250,000 to 800,000 and Rann came along to the {6-Diamonds} on the turn.

Dimsa now bet for 1,600,000 with some 3,600,000 behind and Rann called after giving it a few seconds of consideration. The {3-Clubs} on the river then paired the board for the second time and Dimsa checked. Rann moved all-in and Dimsa immediately sighed, thought about it for some 15 seconds and called.

The {a-Spades}{6-Spades} of Rann had gone runner runner to make a full house and Dimsa flashed the {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a flopped flush. Both shook hands and Dimsa will receive a prize of £80,282 according to the ICM deal, while Rann is crowned the 2022 UKIPT Main Event champion.

The Brit gets the biggest slice worth £86,568 and the winner’s trophy.
