The PokerStars Summer Festival Malta, running at the InterContinental Hotel, will conclude today with the Final Day of the Main Event starting at 12 p.m. local time.
A total of 916 entries were made to the event, which made for a prize pool of €879,360.
There are just 11 players left in contention. The next player out will take €11,300. The eventual winner is set for a payout of €153,610.
WSOP bracelet winner Simone Andrian of Italy starts the day as chip leader with 5,280,000 chips. He is tailed by Marcin Lesniewski of Poland with 4,780,000. In third place is David Docherty of Scotland, who took down the Irish Open earlier in the year and is eyeing up his second major title of the season.
