Steven Lewzey Eliminated in 20th Place (7,260)

Level 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Steven Lewzey
Steven Lewzey

From the small blind, Steven Lewzey got his stack of around 1,300,000 into the middle against Arian Kashani in the big blind.

Steven Lewzey: A?K? All in
Arian Kashani: Q?Q?

The way that Kashani had been running so far on Day 3, it was of no surprise to see the flop of 7?Q?7?, which gave him a full house. Lewzey needed running cards to survive, and got half way there with the A? turn, however the 9? river couldn't complete the miracle, and he was eliminated.

Chung Wong Eliminated in 21st Place (6,310)

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

The action folded around to Arian Kashani in the small blind who shoved, and Chung Wong called off his stack of under 500,000 from the big blind.

Chung Wong: K?J? All in
Arian Kashani: Q?7?

Wong was in the lead, but surely didn't like the look of the A?10?4? flop as Kashani added a ton of outs with a flush draw. The hand was all over by the time the 8? hit the turn, as Kashani improved to an unbeatable flush. A meaningless J? landed on the river, and Wong headed to the payout desk.

Swain Survives by Cracking Seabrook's Aces

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Thomas Swain
Thomas Swain

Yannik Seabrook raised to 130,000 from under the gun and Thomas Swain shoved from the next seat for 445,000. Philip Joyce cold-called in the small blind, and Seabrook shoved for almost 1,200,000. Joyce had around 600,000 behind, but elected to fold.

Thomas Swain: 6?6? All in
Yannik Seabrook: A?A?

Swain was way behind, but all of a sudden saw light at the end of the tunnel as the 7?9?8? flop gave him an open-ended straight draw. A 10? on the turn completed his straight, which didn't impress Seabrook. There were still chances to chop the pot, but the 2? river was a brick, and Swain survived.

Kashani Shows Lhuillier the Bad News

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On a board of A?6?J?6?, there were already around 600,000 chips in the pot when Arian Kashani checked the action over to Jean-Emmanuel Lhuillier, who fired 375,000. Kashani then put in a raise to 775,000. which Lhuillier eventually called.

A K? dropped on the river and Kashani made a bet of 700,000, which sent Lhuillier into the tank. Minutes passed and with no decision from Lhuillier, and eventually the clock was called. Lhuillier made a hero call with one second left of a countdown yesterday, and with just few seconds remaining on this clock today, he called.

Kashani then showed trips with 8?6?, and Lhuillier mucked his hand.

Slater Back on Track

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Thomas Swain opened from middle position and Nathan Slater shoved the button for around 750,000. When it got back to Swain, he dropped in the call.

Nathan Slater: 7?7? All in
Thomas Swain: A?Q?

Slater couldn't afford to lose two all-ins a row, otherwise he would be the first casualty of the day. Fortunately for him, and not so much for Swain, the board ran out 8?3?2?6?9?, which kept Slater's sevens in the lead.

Kamber Finds an Unlikely Double

Level 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Mor Kamber
Mor Kamber

Nathan Slater opened from under the gun to 125,000 and Mor Kamber shoved from the hijack for 675,000. When it got back to Slater, he called.

Mor Kamber: 9?9? All in
Nathan Slater: J?J?

Kamber was in serious danger of being out early on Day 3, but the poker gods were looking down on her as she spiked a set on the 9?4?A? flop to take the lead. No help arrived on the 5? turn or 10? river for Slater, and Kamber scored an early double-up.

"I literally folded jack-nine," said Thomas Swain.
