Deadman Miscounts Stack After Being “Ludoed”
Level 12
: 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Simon Deadman started the day with nearly 80,000 but had significantly less than that when he opened the pot for 4,000 and faced a shove from Full Tilt Poker Ambassador Dermot Blain for just under 40,000. Ludovic Geilich folded his big blind and when it got back to Deadman he said, “I miscounted my stack. I thought I had thirty five, I should have just moved all in.”
Deadman had around 25,000 and folded what he said was , Blain said he had . Another player asked what had happened to Deadman’s stack and he explained that he had been “Ludoed.” referring to an earlier hand where Geilich had put him in very difficult spot on the river for all his chips. The clock had been called and Deadman mucked his cards as the count reached one second.
