Moolhuizen Wins Big Pot to Increase Lead

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

Paul Vergeer limped in with the {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and called a raise to 380,000 by Mateusz Moolhuizen, who held {J-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. On the flop {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}, Moolhuizen continued for 400,000 and was called before firing a second barrel worth 650,000 on the {Q-Clubs} turn. Then, the {J-Diamonds} fell on the river and Moolhuizen bet 1 million.

Vergeer tank-called with his ace-high and dropped more than half of his stack with a hero call at the wrong time.

Unlucky Runout for Vergeer

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

A limped pot brought the flop {5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Paul Vergeer bet 150,000, Mateusz Moolhuizen called. On the {K-Diamonds} turn, it was a second barrel worth 355,000 by Vergeer and yet another call by Moolhuizen. The {6-Spades} river filled up the board and Vergeer fired 525,000. Moolhuizen tank-called with the {3-Spades}{2-Hearts} and got a lucky chop, Vergeer had flopped the straight with {A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

Vergeer Grinding Up

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

Paul Vergeer limped in with the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Mateusz Moolhuizen raised to 380,000 with {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}. Vergeer called and then folded to a bet of 325,000 on the {2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop.

Vergeer limped again with {K-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Moolhuizen checked with the {4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. On the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop, Moolhuizen bet 125,000 and was called before they checked the {9-Diamonds} turn and {9-Hearts} river to see Vergeer win the pot.

On the {J-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Moolhuizen tried it once again with a bet of 175,000, holding {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Vergeer called with {J-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and again both the {9-Spades} turn and {9-Hearts} river were checked to give Vergeer another pot.

Chop it Up

Level 27 : 60,000/120,000, 10,000 ante

In a limped pot, both players checked the flop {8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Mateusz Moolhuizen then bet the {9-Hearts} turn for 180,000. Paul Vergeer called and they then checked the {7-Hearts} on the river. Moolhuizen announced two pair and showed {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Vergeer had an equally strong hand with {10-Spades}{7-Spades}.

"I am glad you didn't bet," Vergeer said and Moolhuizen grinned back "I wish I had now."
