The 2024 Unibet Deepstack Open (UDSO) Marrakech main event begins today at Casino de Marrakech with the first of four starting flights. In the 2023 edition, Alexandre Le Vaillant defeated 752 entries to become to champion, winning the first place prize of 625,000 MAD.

The four starting flights for the main event are on September 25th, September 26th and September 27th (where there will be an additional turbo Day 1) respectively. The fields then combine for Day 2 on September 28th and the final day will take place on September 29th.
Players will start at 1 p.m. local time with 50,000 in chips and play 50-minute levels for the first 19 levels of play, at which point the rest of the tournament will play 60-minute levels. Late registration will be open for the first nine levels for each Day 1, and there are unlimited re-entries permitted during that period. Cards are in the air starting at 1 p.m. There will be a 15-minute break after every two levels and a one-hour dinner break after level 8. The day will conclude after 13 levels at approximately 2:00 a.m. local time.
