Day 2 of the 2024 Unibet DeepStack Open Marrakech Kicks Off at 1 p.m.
Welcome to Day 2 of the 2024 Unibet DeepStack Open Marrakech. The four starting flights saw a total of 861 entrants make their to the Casino de Marrakech, with just 25% of the field advancing to Day 2. That means that 216 hopefuls return today at 1 p.m. local time.
Leading the pack from the Day 1's is Ahmed Sylla. The famous French actor and comedian made a great hero call with aces on a double-paired board that propelled him to the top of the chip counts on Day 1a, and he held that number one spot through all the starting flights. Returning in second place is Day 1c chip leader Yasser Loudagh with 617,000. Rounding out the podium in third place is Day 1b chip leader Laurent Cruchon with 559,000.

The payout information is not yet available, but it will be posted towards the start of play today. With over 100 more entries than last year, the first place prize should be around 700,000 MAD.
Play resumes with a few minutes left to play inLevel 10, as this is where Day 1a was completed. Blinds begin at 1,000/2,000 with a 2,000 big blind ante. Levels will be 50 minutes in length. The original plan was to play down to 16 players today, but this is subject to change due to the large number of entries and having to begin in Level 10.
