Hands #59-60: Tollerene Downed to Eight Big Blinds

Level 22 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #59: Cary Katz opened the action, raising to 100,000 with {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Ben Tollerene was on the button with 20 big blinds, picking up {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}. He three-bet to 250,000 but big blind Ryan Riess woke up with {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} in the big blind. Riess cold-four-bet to 740,000 and both of his opponents quickly folded.

Hand #60: Tollerene made it 80,000 with {K-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Katz defended the big blind with {8-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Katz outflopped Tollerene on the {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades} and check-called another 55,000. The {7-Spades} turn saw Katz check again and Tollerene checked back with only 1.33-times the pot behind. Katz then min-bet the {7-Diamonds} river, getting a thin value from Tollerene who called with king-high. Tollerene dropped to just eight big blinds as the blinds went up after the hand.
