It's Almost Time for the Second $10,000 No-Limit Hold'Em Event; Event #3 Starts at 2 PM
It's almost time for Event #3: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em here at the Aria Resort and Casino, the second of three $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em events at the US Poker Open. The first event was won by Stephen Chidwick on Thursday, February 14th, putting him in the lead for top player of the series and putting him in pole position to win the $100,000 prize.
This event will have the same structure and run the same as the first event did. Players will begin with 125,000 in chips and will play down to the final six players here on Day 1. Blinds will start at 500/1000 with a big blind ante of 1,000 and levels will be 30 minutes with a break after every three levels.
The first event drew out 90 entrants and saw players such as Justin Bonomo, Joseph Cheong, Jared Jaffee, Chris Hunichen, Bryn Kenney, and David Peters come out to play to name a few. For his eventual victory, Chidwick walked away with $216,000. Thirteen players of the 90 entrants walked away with a cash. For this event, 9 players will make it to the final table, but play for most of the day will be seven handed.
