Winter Picks Off Foxen's Bluff

Level 6 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Alex Foxen opened from the small blind, making it 9,000. Sean Winter called in the big blind.

The flop was {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and Foxen continued with a bet of 8,000. Winter called again.

On the {6-Clubs} turn, both players checked and the {5-Hearts} dropped on the river. Foxen dropped into the tank and while he did, Winter held his hand over the muck, implying he was going to fold.

"Put your hand in the muck," Winter said. "Just muck it. Come on, muck it."

Foxen eventually decided to put out a bet of 20,000 and Winter dropped into the tank.

"I don't really beat anything except one pair," Winter said. He eventually decided to call.

"You beat this hand," Foxen said, flashing his cards briefly. Winter showed his {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a pair of kings and he would take down the pot.

"Wow, some how it would've been cheaper for you just to throw your hand in the muck," Winter said with a smile after the hand.
