Live poker continues to boom in the high roller community with the U.S. Poker Open Event #9: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em attracting 99 players to generate a $990,000 prize pool.

This ties a USPO record set earlier just days ago when David Peters finished on top of a field of 99 entries to win Event #7: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em for $217,800.

Ali Imsirovic (5,075,000) leads the final seven players in the U.S. Poker Open Event #9: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em after bagging near half the chips in play on Day 1.

Vanessa Kade (1,715,000), Cary Katz (1,455,000), Erik Seidel (1,405,000), and Andrew Lichtenberger (1,315,000) all advanced with stacks north of 1 million with Thomas Winters (970,000) and Jake Schindler (440,000) hoping to spin up their short stacks at the final table.
