The €500 Main Event of the Winamax Poker Open (WPO) in Banco Casino, here in Bratislava, continues today with Day 2, which is set to kick off today at 12 p.m. local time.
Over a total of five starting flights in the last three days, an impressive 1,577 entries were recorded in this six-max event. Of those, 271 players will be returning to the felt today to battle it out as all starting flights merge for the first time.
An official prize pool and payout structure are yet to be announced, but it is confirmed that all remaining players are in the money and have secured a minimum cash of €1,000.
Going into Day 2 the overall chip leader is Camille Lemardeley, who managed to accumulate an impressive 1,052,000 on Day 1d just yesterday. Following closely behind is Adrien Guyon; the only other player to eclipse the one million chip mark. Guyon managed to amass 1,048,000, having ended Day 1b as the overall chip leader on Thursday.

Winamax Team Pro is seemingly dominating proceedings as a total of nine Team Pro members will be returning to Banco Casino to battle it out once more. Most notable are Bruno Lopes (994,000), Davidi Kitai (897,000) and Gaelle Baumann (857,000), having all solidified themselves as a top ten stack going into Day 2.
In addition, those who enjoyed yesterday’s cocktail dinner and the Blind Test can look forward to the Chess Master challenge today between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. as well as the popular Bongo Loco that kicks off at 8:30 p.m.
Players that have progressed to Day 2 are expected to take their seats at 12 p.m. today, Saturday 23, and will start play on the level after the earliest Day 1 finished.
