Welcome to Day 1b of the Winamax SISMIX festival Main Event
The Winamax SISMIX poker festival continues at the Casino de Marrakech in the Es Saadi Resort. Day 1b of the �500 (5,500 Dirham) Main Event, the second of four starting flights, kicks off today at 12:00 local time.
Players will be shaking off cobwebs from the night before to take part in what is set to be another exciting day both on and off the felt.
Main Event Day 1b entrants will start with a stack of 50,000 chips and blinds will begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Blind levels run for 30 minutes with a break every four levels.
Day 1b will play down to the money and those who survive will be returning for Day 2 and the chance to make life changing sums of money. Players will have the option to re-enter each flight once and today's late registration runs for the first 13 levels.
As is always the case for SISMIX events, the tournament will be six-handed, making for a format that is sure to encourage plenty of action.

Winamax pro Adrian Mateos won the SISMIX Main Event in 2018 for $106,128, the last time the event was held in Marrakech. In 2019, SISMAX moved to Spain, where German player Tim Hartmann took down the Main Event for $112,875.
Day 1a concluded with Javier Tsunamy taking the lead with one million chips. We'll find out later whether anyone can top his stack at the end of Day 1b.
Elsewhere, SISMIX is offering food, music and entertainment in the form of the afternoon pool party and, later on, the Soiree Marocaine, which involves couscous and dancers. Tonight's Theatro club event will be hosted by DJs Psyone and A-B Boy.
