Day 1c at 6 p.m. Provides the Last Chance to Make Day 2 of the Women’s Winter Festival Main Event

The last of three starting flights is expected to attract a final surge of hopefuls to the Hippodrome Casino for its 6 p.m. start time, all fighting for their place in the history of this inaugural event.

It was Mary-Rose McCann who bagged the overall chip lead, taking through 351,000. McCann is nearly 100,000 chips in front of her nearest competitor Lisa Roberts, of the United States, who amassed an impressive 256,000.
