With a completed board reading , JK Kastner bet 78,000 into a pot of about 200,000. Francois Billard came over the top with an all-in jam and after a few moments in the tank, Kastner let it go.
With 118,000 in the pot, on a board reading , Jeff Cormier checked from the small blind. Ari Engel was on the button and bet 16,000. Cormier check-raised to 47,000 and Engel tank-called.
The river was the and Cormier led out for 72,000 this time. Engel tanked for about five minutes before eventually deciding to call.
Cormier mucked for seven-high and Engel took the pot down with for king-high.
Ari Engel limped in from the small blind and Kristen Bicknell checked her option in the big blind.
The flop came and Engel led out for 10,000. Bicknell called. The turn was the and both players checked to the on the river.
Engel checked again, as did Bicknell. Engel tabled for a turned straight, while Bicknell showed for a pair of sixes. These two players have been battling in pots all day, and Engel set the trap but Bicknell wasn't falling for it.
It won't come as much of a shock but, in the first three levels here on Day 2, the field has been narrowed down to the final nine. Just two away from the unofficial final table and four away from the money.
