Kristen Bicknell opened to 1,500 from under the gun and got calls from Pierre Paul Paulin in the cutoff and Pablo Mariz in the big blind.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Mariz checked to Bicknell who bet 3,500. Paulin folded and Mariz called.

The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Mariz led out for 8,000. Bicknell paused for a moment and then called.

The river was the {4-Spades} and Mariz led out for 20,600. Bicknell went into the tank and eventually tossed some chips in the middle to call. Mariz tabled {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for the nut straight and Bicknell mucked.

Bicknell is a two-time WSOP bracelet winner after taking down the 2013 Ladies Event and then the 2016 Bounty Event. This past summer, Mariz scooped the Millionaire Maker for $1.2 million for his first bracelet. The two champions are two of three WSOP winners in the field, in addition to Pascal Lefrancois who won a $1,500 event in 2010.
