With about 6,000 in the pot, on a board reading , Zachary Goodbaum checked from the big blind, as did Joel Palmer from the hijack. Patrick Braga was on the button and bet 3,000. Goodbaum quickly called, but Palmer decided to put in a check-raise to 7,600. Braga called, as did Goodbaum.

Among the growing field is WPT Champion Eric Afriat, looking to add to his massive poker resume.
Afriat has amassed just shy of $2 million in career earnings, with his biggest cash coming from a World Poker Tour win in the Seminole Hard Rock Showdown for a whopping $1,081,184 in April of 2014. He came close to a second title right here on home soil at the Playground Poker Club in February of this year, but fell short in third place for $108,690.
Afriat makes his way around the world playing poker with cashes in Las Vegas, Florida, Atlantic City, Verona, the Bahamas, St. Maarten, Pompano Beach and of course a ton of results in Montreal, Canada.

Kathy Sawers raised to 525 from the hijack and Alyssa Mac Donald three-bet to 1,550 on the button. Amir Mohsen was in the small blind and quickly cold-called, as did Mokhtar Khedadi in the big blind. Sawers called also.
