Karyn Gemmill entered the final table as an overwhelming chip leader. Since the start of the final table, she has doubled up three of her opponent's. Eric Lacombe was the first to take a big slice, making a call on the river with trip aces, to Gemmill's semi-bluff with two nines.
Then Marco De Pasquale shoved preflop with ace-nine and Gemmill called with two deuces. De Pasquale hit a nine and doubled through.
The latest beat occurred in a pot with Peter Zelmer. Zelmer flopped top pair and moved all-in. Gemmill called with middle pair and a flush draw but didn't get there, doubling up Zelmer.
The final 12 players have decided to remove $40 from the top three prizes and pay the 12th place finisher $120. The remaining players are now in the money.
The remaining 18 players are now on a 15-minute break. When they return, Level 14 will begin with increased blinds at 3k6k and an ante of 500. Average stack is 87,500.
