Lindeblad Is Back

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Stephen Lindeblad
Stephen Lindeblad

Stephen Lindeblad is back, and he's better than ever now with over 200,000 in chips thanks to quad aces.

First, was all in on the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop with the {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} against the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for Luke Brabin. The turn was the {6-Hearts} to give Lindeblad a full house, and he stayed in the lead from there after the {10-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Shortly thereafter, Lindeblad had raised the button to 8,000, and Thomas Gleeson called from the small blind. Aaron Lim was in the big blind and jammed all in, having both players well covered. Lindeblad snap-called for his 96,000, and Gleeson folded.

Lindeblad had the {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}, and Lim had the {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

The flop was a big one for Lindeblad, coming down {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and giving him quads. Lim would need runner-runner perfect to a royal flush, but the {8-Spades} hit the turn and left him drawing dead. The river completed the board with the {6-Hearts}, and Lindeblad pulled in the pot.
