Calcagno Takes Big Lead

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Hand #116: Nelson Maccini received a walk.

Hand #117: Maccini raised to 12,000 and took it down.

Hand #118: Scott Calcagno raised to 12,000 and was called. Both players checked the {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop. The {a-Spades} on the turn was again checked by both players before a bet of 10,000 on the river from Calcagno was enough to take it down.

Hand #119: Maccini raised to 12,000 and collected the pot.

Hand #120: Maccini received another walk.

Hand #121: Maccini raised to 12,000 forcing a fold from Calcagno.

Hand #122: Calcagno raised to 12,000. Maccini then raised it up to 30,000. Calcagno called. The flop came down {3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Maccini slid out a bet of 40,000 which was quickly called. The {5-Spades} on the turn was checked by Maccini. Calcagno led out for 65,000 and was called as the {9-Diamonds} completed the board. Maccini checked one last time before Calcagno bet out 130,000. Maccini quickly moved all in and was snap called.

Calcagno then showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} which was enough to take down the pot after Maccini tabled his {J-Spades}{j-Clubs}.
