Arieh Loses Some to Severino

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Three ways to the 9?6?5? flop, Bruno Severino bet 10,500 in the cutoff and Josh Arieh was the only caller. The 7? came on the turn and Severino checked, then called a bet worth 22,000.

Both players checked the 3? river and Severino tabled the 5?5? for a set, which won the pot.

Brown Eliminated by Kamran

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Tyler Brown
Tyler Brown

Recent $25,000 PLO High Roller finalist Tyler Brown was all-in with a short stack and flipped over the 6?6?.

He was up against Assad Kamran, who took the flip holding the A?K?.

The J?4?2? flop and Q? turn kept Brown ahead but the A? river improved Kamran.

"No worries, I will be back," Brown said on his way out and will likely re-enter the competition in one of the remaining three flights at the Atlantis Casino & Resort.

Aldemir Sniffs Out the Bluff

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Oleg Ustinovich raised to 6,000 from early position only to see Koray Aldemir to his direct left come in for a three-bet for 15,000. Action folded back around to Ustinovich who tossed in the call and watched as the flop came down 4?Q?2?.

Ustinovich checked over to Aldemir who continued with a bet of 8,500. Ustinovich was pretty quick to put in the call and see the 8?.

Ustinovich checked and Aldemir checked it back to bring the Q? out on the river.

Ustinovich paused for a moment before reaching into his stack and coming out with a bet worth 10,000. Aldemir thought for a short moment before deciding to make the call to see Ustinovich turn up the A?2?, prompting Aldemir to roll over the A?4? and take down the flop with the successful bluff catch.

Two in a Row for Hunichen

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

Chris Hunichen opened to 6,000 from middle position and Kelvin Kerber three-bet to 18,000 from the cutoff. Hunichen made the call.

The flop came 9?4?3? and Hunichen check-called a 13,000 continuation bet from Kerber.

Hunichen check-called another bet from Kerber on the 3? turn, this time for 18,000.

On the 9? river Hunichen checked once more and Kerber bet enough to put Hunichen all in for his remaining 40,500. Hunichen made the call.

Kerber tabled K?K? for kings and nines while Hunichen showed down A?A? for aces up to take the pot.

The very next hand, Hunichen found himself all in with a covering stack against an early position player who had roughly 50,000.

Early Position: A?J?
Chris Hunichen: J?J?

Hunichen was very far ahead with top set on the J?8?6? flop and by the 7? turn his opponent was drawing dead. After the 5? river was dealt Hunichen scooped another healthy pot while sending his opponent to the rail.

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Bryce Yockey
Bryce Yockey

Joao Manana opened to 6,000 from under the gun and received calls from Francis Poirier in early position and Maria Ho in middle position before Christopher Puetz moved all in for 38,500 from the hijack. Bryce Yockey then made it 80,000 from the big blind before Manana moved all in for roughly 135,000. Poirer and Ho got out of the way while Yockey made the call, covering both players.

Christopher Puetz: 8?8?
Joao Manana: Q?Q?
Bryce Yockey: A?K?

Yockey pulled ahead on the K?3?6? flop with top pair but Puetz took the lead after hitting a set on the 8? turn. The 2? river was a blank and Puetz secured a full triple up while Yockey took in a colossal side pot and Manana was sent to the rail.

Luchi Knocks Out Jiang

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Andre Luchi opened to 8,000 from the cutoff and Sosia Jiang moved all in for her last 22,000 from the big blind. Luchi made the call with a covering stack to put Jiang at risk.

Sosia Jiang: A?10?
Andre Luchi: K?10?

Jiang was in excellent shape to secure a double up and remained ahead on the A?Q?4? flop. The 6? turn was also clean but the J? gave Luchi the straight and the pot while Jiang made her exit from the tournament area.
