Derwiche Continues to Dominate; Glantz Doubles

Level 19 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Imar Derwiche has been adding chips left and right with very aggressive play and then bumped it up to 300,000 in the small blind when Tyler Brown had limped the button. Brown called and the flop came Q?J?10?. Derwiche asked for the pot size and bet 700,000 into 760,000, Brown folded.

Derwiche first showed the K? and then also flashed the A?.

"I told you, I never bluff. You know why? I am too old, I don't know how to bluff," Derwiche declared. He then won more chips after with preflop and post flop aggression.

In the meanwhile, Nick Schulman raise-called the shove by Matt Glantz for 620,000.

Matt Glantz: K?10?8?6?
Nick Schulman: J?9?8?7?

The A?Q?3?6?2? runout kept Glantz in contention.

Ren Lin announced a pot-sized raise and moved forward 240,000 in chips. With the big blind ante in play, the full pot was higher as inquired by Isaac Haxton, who then called for the full pot from the big blind and Lin added the additional chips.

The K?Q?6? flop saw Haxton bet the pot and Lin folded with around 600,000 behind.

In the very next hand, Lin got those chips in preflop and was looked up by Tyler Brown.

Ren Lin: 8?7?6?5?
Tyler Brown: K?K?J?10?

The A?J?7? flop brought some hope for Lin but the A? turn took it all but away. No miracle came with the 3? river and Lin bowed out in 12th place for $54,400.

What started as a multi-way limped pot to the K?10?10? flop saw Nikolaos Lamproulos check and Tong Li then jam for around 345,000. Tyler Brown folded and Lampropoulos instantly called.

Tong Li: A?K?9?4?
Nikolaos Lampropoulos: K?Q?J?10?

Speech Play Defeats Speech Play

Level 19 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Imad Derwiche
Imad Derwiche

The always talkative Ren Lin opened to 225,000 from under the gun and Imad Derwiche called in the big blind, as both engaged in table chat already.

As they headed to the K?4?3? flop, Derwiche joked "slowly, Lady Gaga slowly ..." before he checked. Lin then bet 300,000 only for Derwiche to inquire about the size of the pot.

Derwiche then potted to 1,470,000, sending Lin into the tank.

"I would like you to stay on this table, so save your chips," Derwiche declared. Lin pondered about his move and used one time bank before folding.

Derwiche offered for his table neighbour to pick two cards and the 7?4? were exposed.

Lin jokingly asked if he could also see the other two and Derwiche flipped over one more card, the J?.

"What the fuck?" Lin said as he burst out in laughter.
