Mikhail Smirnov faced a re-raise preflop from Steven van Zadelhoff which was a stack of pinks big enough to put his tournament life on the line. Having at one time scaled the dizzy heights of the top of the chip standings, he had less than 75k behind after his previous preflop bet, and eventually put it all in.
