Van Zadelhoff to a Great Start
Steven van Zadelhoff has shot up in chips this afternoon, busting the first player and most recently taking a chunk from neighbour Fabrice Touil, with whom he seems to be battling a lot and winning the war.
In a small blind vs. big blind encounter, van Zadelhoff raised when it passed round to him to 6k. Big blind Touil made the call, but passed when van Zadelhoff bet out 7k on the flop.
The very next hand, van Zadelhoff, now the button, raised when it passed to him again - to 4,400. This time small blind Touil repopped it to 17k, which van Zadelhoff eventually called.
The flop: . Check-check.
The turn: . Now Touil bet out 18k. After a motionless finger-locked think for about half a minute, van Zadelhoff raised to 75k. Touil instapassed.
