Didier checked and his opponent bet 4,000 before looking back at his cards. Didier, watching like a hawk, sprang the check-raise to 8,300 the pot was not his yet as his opponent made the call.
The turn card 
brought in the flush draw but was checked around. The river card 
then paired the board and Didier led out for 15,000. His opponent had 22,500 remaining and thought for a good long while before eventually giving it up.
Didier’s neighbour asked him what he had but a chuckle and a shrug was the only response although he did seem to indicate it was a bluff.
