Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

In a preflop raising war between Rainer Kempe and Brian Altman, the two large stacks ended up with Altman pushing all in over Rainer's four-bet to 1,300,000. Kempe folded and Altman showed the {4-Clubs}. He now finds himself back on top of the chip counts again.

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Carter Swidler has a good rail here as the only Canadian at the final table of this Canadian WPT stop. The short stack is looking to take the title on his home turf.

Brian Altman limped in the small blind and Swidler raised to 280,000, getting a call and going to a flop of {7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Both players checked to the {9-Hearts} turn and then to the {7-Hearts} river.

Altman checked again and Swidler bet 125,000, getting his opponent to fold and his rail cheered on the small pot.

AJ Gambino Eliminated in Sixth Place for $87,520

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
AJ Gambino
AJ Gambino

AJ Gambino was in the cutoff and raised to 180,000. With action on Darryll Fish on the button, he three-bet to 355,000. It folded back around to Gambino who took little time to push all in and Fish snap-called.

Gambino: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Fish: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

It was a classic race, but the flop of {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} made Fish a big favourite to win the pot. The turn of {k-Hearts} took away one of Gambino's outs as the flush draw came in, and the {10-Hearts} river filled the flush for Fish, eliminating Gambino on sixth place for $87,520.

The remaining players are now into six-figure paydays with fifth place earning $108,410.
