Show One, Show None
We just caught the action in a big pot, which started with a raise from Johan Verhagen to 900 under the gun. The player on his left called and David Boyacyian three-bet to 3,100. The player in the big blind four-bet to 8,300 and both Verhagen and Boyaciyan made the call.
The flop brought out and the big blind bet 9,500 after which Verhagen raised it up to 20,000. Boyaciyan folded and the big blind tanked for several minutes before folding.
Before tossing his cards into the muck Verhagen looked at them, lifting them up high enough so that the player on his right could easily see them. The player, the man who just folded, eagerly peeked at the cards, before Verhagen tossed them into the muck with a smile.
"Show one, show all," Boyaciyan said.
"I didn't show. I can't help it that he looked at my cards," Verhagen laughed.
"Hahahaha, what a trick," the other player said, as he clearly wasn't that affected by the loss of his chips.
Verhagen ended up not showing his cards, and he now sits on 75,000 chips.
