Marques Takes Charge
On the last hand before the break Abdelkader Benhalima raised to 25,000 and Pedro Marques three-bet from the button to 68,000. Benhalima made the call and the flop brought out

On the turn another diamond hit, and the action was checked once more.

and the board now showed five diamonds. Benhalima lead for 125,000 and Marques raised it up to 300,000.
After a while Benhalima folded, and Marques showed 
for complete air. Benhalima showed 
, indicating that he was also bluffing, but the pot was shipped to Marques.
On the very first hand after the break Marques raised to 28,000 and from his left it was Pavel Plesuv who three-bet to 75,000. The action folded back to Marques and he made it 190,000. Plesuv five-bet to 360,000 and Marques tanked for a bit before moving all in.
Plesuv folded immediately and Marques took over the tournament chip lead with 11 players remaining.
