Steven Warburton Holds a Narrow Lead Going into Day 2
Welcome back to PokerNews' coverage of the 2015 World Poker Tour High Roller where at 1:00pm UK time, the 23 players who survived the antics on Monday's Day 1 return to their seats at Dusk Till Dawn for Day 2 of the 250,000 guaranteed Main Event.
Those 23 could be joined by more big names as it is possible to buy into (and reenter) until the end of the first level of the day, which should be around 1:40pm, so if you have a spare 5,250 down the back o your sofa why not come down and rub shoulders with some of the best poker players on the planet?
Steven Warburton is the man to catch at the start of play, his 149,000 stack containing a mere 900 more chips than second placed Simon Deadman. Terry Jordon was the only other player to break through the 100,000 chip barrier on Day 1, but with the likes of Jason Wheeler, Sam Trickett and Adrian Mateos still in contention, holding a bi stack at the start of the day will not guarantee success.
