"He Could've Been Dead"
Level 7
: 250/500, 75 ante
On a flop of Fedor Holz had 3,900 in front of him seated under the gun, and Jan Ramik on the button had raised to 8,000. Holz made the call.
Both players checked the on the turn and the popped up on the river. Holz checked again, and Ramik did the same after some thinking.
Holz showed for a rivered pair of tens. Ramik tabled for the flopped open ended straight flush draw with a pair, and a rivered straight.
"What is he doing with king ten" laughed Marko Busic who wasn't involved in the hand. "He could've been dead" he said to his neighbor in the one seat. He then mumbled something like "he'll donk it of". Holz just sat there silently, not reacting to the comments in any way.
