The $3,500 buy-in, $5 million guaranteed World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Championship will take place starting Thursday, April 16, 2015.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., announced that the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, now in its fifth year, will return April 6-22, 2015.?Held in the resort ballrooms, the 17-day series will feature the $3,500 buy-in, $5 million guaranteed WPT Seminole Hard Rock Championship with three starting flights beginning Thursday, April 16 at 12 p.m. local time.
Last year's Championship was the largest WPT playing field in history with 1,795 entries. Players may play any or all starting flights and choose their best stack. Reentry will be allowed for six levels, and the televised final table will be take place on Wednesday, April 22 in Hard Rock Live located in Seminole Paradise, with live coverage available on www.SHRPO.com.
The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown will open with a $250 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed no-limit hold'em tournament with six starting flights starting at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. on April 6 and April 7. The poker action will continue with a $570 buy-in, $1 million guaranteed deep-stack no-limit hold'em event with six starting flights April 9-12.
The WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship final table will be aired on Fox Sports. Broadcast schedule will be released at a later date. Mohamed Mamouni raised to 65,000 from the button and Mike Gerry called out of the big blind. Gerry check-called a bet of 75,000 on the ?? flop to do the same for 125,000 after the turn. Once the river had completed the board, Gerry checked and paid off the 210,000-bet of his opponent to muck versus ?.
Heinrich Pauker raised to 65,000 and Jean Marie Vandeborne moved all in for exactly 500,000 chips from one seat over. Everyone else got out of the way and Pauker quickly called.

Mohamed Mamouni raised to 65,000 and called the small three-bet of Mike Gerry on the button for 130,000 in total. Both players checked down the ???? board until the river, where Mamouni bet 200,000. Gerry quickly called and turned over his ?. Mamouni banged his hand on the table as his ? would chop the pot in a rather unlucky run-out of the hand.
Mohamed Mamouni raised to 65,000 from the button and called the three-bet of Nico Lombaerts, who made it 150,000 to go. After a flop of ?? both players checked and Lombaerts then bet the turn for 200,000 to take down the pot.
The action folded to Florian Ravier moved all in for 475,000 chips. From one seat over, Miroslav Alilovic moved all in as well for close to 1 million in chips and that got everyone else out of the way.

Another five players registered before the start of Day 2 for the �2,000 + �200 High Roller Event and increased the field size to 87 entries. The top 9 spots will get paid with the minimum cash being �5,150. The winner takes home �50,000, a lion's part of the �168,780 total prize pool.

Heinrich Pauker raised to 65,000 from early position and called the three-bet of Julien Duveau to 155,000 in total. On a flop of ??, Pauker moved all in immediately and enforced a fold, telling his opponent in table chat that he had ace-king. "I was afraid," he said to Duveau.
Jozsef Szabo min-raised to 60,000 from under the gun and short stack Kyne Elmouloua moved all in from one seat over. The action went back to Szabo and he seemingly had a hard decision to make before eventually announcing the call.
