As we approached his table, Vincent Gabel was just getting up to make his way to the rail. He told us the details of his exit hand.

on the turn saw Gabel shove his last 16,000 into the already sizable pot. His opponent tanked long and hard but eventually called with for top set. Gabel needed some help on the river, but the blank didn't fill up his flush and he departed as one of the first players today.
Gabel qualified for this event in a live satellite, and was determined to reenter.
